WebTraffic : Mild, but there is no shoulder and traffic can travel at 50 mph or so along the first five miles of the climb before veering left to say on Left Hand Canyon Road toward the road instead of right toward Jamestown. After that junction, traffic is very mild and from Ward on to Brainard Lake, traffic is barely noticeable.
