A total of 113 subjects enrolled to the study; 78 women and 35 men. 51 (65%) of women and 21 (60%) of men had iron deficiency anemia, 5 (6.4%) of women and 1 (2.9%) of men had anemia of chronic disease, 2 (2.6%) of women and 10 (28.6%) of men had vitamin B12 deficiency anemia.
